Facing severe weather conditions due to heat, the competitions of Standing Block Chop and Underhand Chop posed even greater challenges for the athletes. Ivan Bambuskar from Czechia achieved an excellent result of 30.72 seconds to win the first place in the Standing Block Chop, and also secured the first place in the Underhand Chop with a time of 33.08 seconds. In the Single Buck event, Chinese athlete Yuan Yijia broke his personal best record of 19.35 seconds, only trailing the first place by 3 seconds. Austrian athlete Simon Oberzaucher won the first place with a good performance of 16.55 seconds.

During the interview with the winner Tim Anthofer after the competition, Tim stated that it was very exciting for him to compete in China. Weather conditions were tricky for everyone, but all athletes went in to give it their all and deliver a great performance. Chinese athlete Liu Bao also said in the interview: "This sport is just starting in China, and we still have a big gap with European athletes.
